Sable, 35, smiling at you from a leather couch in a warm room.

Someone to sit with at the end of the day.

It’s hard to talk to people now. This is a safe place to let your thoughts out, with no judgement. Mateo, Sable, Cal, and June sit with you in the evening and listen, whatever you’re working on: gambling, drinking, sex or pornography, a temper, overeating, gaming, or any type of bad habit. The evening goes into their journal.

From $8 a month to type with them, $20 a month for the live line. The site doesn’t take a card yet.

The four

You choose who to sit with, and who you answer to. Each keeps their own journal, and each writes in their own way.

  • Mateo Ruiz, 36

    Mateo, 36

Writes short. Puts the concrete stuff on a list so it doesn’t disappear.

  • Sable Nguyen, 35

    Sable, 35

Writes the thing you said, plainly, and keeps a list of what’s still open.

  • Cal Brennan, 61

    Cal, 61

Writes it cleanly. The line you said, and what’s still open.

  • June Abebe, 71

    June, 71

Writes in full sentences, unhurried, and leaves unfinished lines where you can see them.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Sit down

Pick who you’re sitting with, the room, and how close. They say hello in their own voice.

  2. Step 2

    Talk

Out loud, or by typing. Whatever the day was, and whatever you’re working on. They listen, and they’re on your side.

  3. Step 3

    Come back tomorrow

The evening is written into their journal. Tomorrow, they remember what you told them and ask how it went.

A conversation, not a doctor

Mateo, Sable, Cal, and June are characters written by software, not real people. Nobody here diagnoses, prescribes, or judges. They listen, they support you in what you’re going through, and they keep the evening. You accept a short line at the door, and the Terms say the rest.
